SLOPE TABLE – Park Course
SLOPE TABLE – Park Course
Vasatorps Park 12 holes are holes 1 – 12. Since slope tables are always calculated after 18 holes, Golfen's IT system adds the fictitious holes 13–18, which are not played on a 12-hole course.
(They have indexes 6, 2, 8, 16, 10, 18 and are not included on a 12-hole course's scorecard as the Swedish Golf Association cannot deliver handicap tables for 12 holes, so the tables are designed for 18 holes).
How do you find out your playing handicap over 12 holes?
First and foremost, you should go after the extra strokes you get on the first 12 holes according to the scorecard or in the OnTag Scorecard app.
1. Look up your handicap in the slope table based on the tee you are playing from, then you will get the number of strokes for your handicap.
2. Then divide the number of strokes by three and then multiply by two (alternatively take 67 percent of the number of strokes you get in the table)
3. Round down or up to an even integer, this way you get the number of strokes over 12 holes.
If the handicap you get from the table differs from the number of strokes you get on the digital scorecard, the number of strokes you see on the scorecard applies. The calculation that Golfen's IT system makes is more accurate than the tables.
