How much does a business network cost?
And what do you get for your money?
The price of a business network says little about its value on its own. A membership can cost a few thousand Swedish kronor or significantly more depending on what is included, how often you meet, and what type of relationships the network is built for.
Don't start with the price tag
Two memberships for 10,000 SEK can be two completely different products.
In one network, the fee may basically provide access to events and a membership list. In another, the same amount may include recurring meetings, meals, activities, personal introductions, or other items that the company would otherwise have purchased separately.
Therefore, it is more relevant to ask what the membership actually includes, how much of it you think you will use, and what type of business benefit the network is built to create.
Compare the right things

How often do you see each other?
A membership with two meetings per year is different from one where you have the opportunity to meet the network every other week.
What's included?
Food, activities, education, exposure, golf, event tickets and other elements can make a big difference in the real value.
Who do you meet?
Hundreds of members provide reach. A less frequent context can instead make it easier to get to know people in depth.
What is expected of you?
Some networks require high attendance, referrals, or active work between meetings. Others are based more on voluntary participation.

The prices below are examples from publicly available information in August 2026. They primarily show what different membership models can be like. Always check the current price and exact content directly with the respective organization.
The Market Association in the Helsingborg Region
SEK 2 500 SEK/year
According to MiH, MiH Premium costs SEK 2,500 per year excluding VAT. They also offer corporate cards from SEK 3,000 per year where one ticket to each event can be used by employees or customers.
South Swedish Chamber of Commerce
From SEK 4
The Chamber of Commerce's service fee has a base fee of SEK 4,800 in 2026. In addition, the fee is affected by, among other things, the number of employees and membership fees according to the organization's model.
Vasatorp Business Club
From 12,000 SEK/year
Vasatorp Business Club has 2026 networking packages starting at SEK 12,000 excluding VAT. The plans are built around around 25 meetings per year and, depending on the package, can also include golf.
Good to know
Not all networks publish their prices.
For some business networks, you first need to attend a meeting, apply, or contact the organization for current membership fees. This makes it extra important to compare content, not just price.
What is it worth?
Don't just try to count the network in terms of the number of deals.
A new customer can of course make the membership profitable right away. But the value can also lie in an introduction to the right person, advice from someone who has already solved your problem, a recruitment, a supplier, a collaboration partner or a relationship that will only become important later on.
The better question is therefore perhaps whether the network gives you access to people and contexts that would have been more difficult to reach on your own, and whether you will actually use that opportunity.
Price per hit
A more expensive membership can still result in a lower cost per relevant meeting.
If you pay more but are able to participate frequently and meet people who are relevant to your business, the cost per actual meeting can be low. However, a cheap membership that is rarely used can be expensive per contact.
The same goes for time. A meeting costs not only the membership fee but also the hours you spend there. A good network therefore needs to feel worth both the money and the time.
