• Junior & Elite

Children and young people who come to Vasatorp will have the opportunity to fall in love with the game and discover how fantastically fun golf is.

Junior activities

  • Through a safe sports environment, we create a positive feeling for golf and for Vasatorp, which means that the young people stay as members of the club or alternatively return to golf later in life and then preferably to Vasatorp.
  • During their time at Vasatorp, the young people will become part of a context that makes them grow as individuals and enjoy this for the rest of their lives, even if they do not choose to invest in their own golf.
  • By running a wide range of junior activities, we attract families.
  • The junior activities revitalize the club, as we have members in all different age segments.
  • Cooperation with the City of Helsingborg is very important.

Elite environment

  • The business is led by PGA coaches.
  • Activities all year round in a safe, developing and learning sports environment.
  • Trained leaders in close collaboration with PGA coaches.
  • Individual development plan - holistic perspective golf, physics and personal development.
  • Good access to training areas.
  • Sparring/training with players at the same level and at the next level.
  • We must train our players so that when they decide to take the step to become professionals, they have the knowledge and resources to run their own venture.

Role models & representation

  • An elite environment with talented players at the club is an important source of inspiration, where we have role models for other players, both young and old.
  • The main principle is that our representative teams should consist of young people/players who have been brought up in the club's activities.
  • Representing the club should be something young people/players are proud of.

High school activities with the special sport of golf

  • Since autumn 2020, Vasatorp is an NIU club with regional high school activities in collaboration with the City of Helsingborg, Filbornaskolan and the Swedish Golf Association. For a number of years now, we have also had RIG (National Sports Gymnasium) with the specialist sport of golf at Vasatorp. RIG has 32 students. Both NIU and RIG have their own employed coaches.
