Welcome to play golf with the seniors!

We are a lovely mix of men and women, all over 60. Together we create memories, surrounded by laughter and supportive golf buddies. From the first greenery of spring to the frosty mornings of winter - we play all year round. Organized competitions, series finales with shared lunch and social activities bring life to our days on the golf course. Choose your start time – early, late or somewhere in between – with no long-term commitments. Play when it suits you, but register on time. By participating in our competitions, you collect prizes and vouchers. Welcome to become part of our golfing family!

Here's all the information you need to join our community golf game:

• Time and days: We always have start times in the morning, both on Tuesdays and Thursdays all year round (except July).
• Age group: Both men and women from the age of 60 are cordially welcome to participate.
• Series game: We have organized league games during summer and winter, complete with rules and competition management.
• Common endings: After each series, we end with a joint lunch.
• Golf buddies: You will meet nice golf buddies who support each other.
• Social activities: We organize fun events like Luciagolf, joint trips to other courses and "Olles Gubbar 60+" competitions, where you can qualify by playing with the seniors.
• Mentors for unsure players: If you feel unsure, it is possible to go with a mentor the first few times.

Summer season (1 April – 31 October):

• Senior 18 hole stroke golf: Divided into two classes.
• Senior 9 hole score bogey: A class.
• Start time: Choose between early or late (or somewhere in between - don't make an active choice!).
• No binding: Play when it suits you, but register in GIT (the computer system) and pay the entry fee no later than 23:59 two days before the day of the game - this is binding.
• Choice of tee: Choose tee from time to time in connection with registration.
• Prices and vouchers: Prices from entry fees are accumulated to vouchers valid at the club Vasatorp (these are distributed at the end during autumn and spring).
• Surplus for joint activities: The surplus after prices is used to subsidize our social activities.
• Free lunch and gift card: By participating in a certain number of competitions, you qualify for free lunch and gift cards at the closings.
• Number of players: A total of about 120 players, with about 50 participants per competition.
• Vasatorparen major competition: This major competition is organized by our committee.

Winter season (1 November – 31 March):

• Senior 9 hole stroke golf: A class.
• Tea selection: No change of tees during the period - choose tees on first play.
• Registration: Register in GIT no later than 10:00 a.m. the day before the game day.
