Your booking affects more than just you!
We are constantly working to create the best possible accessibility on our courses. But for that to work, the booking system needs to reflect reality – the right players, the right number and the right starting time.
Right now we are seeing an increased number of situations where booked players, for example, do not show up to start, or where players register on arrival without showing up to start and where booked three- or four-balls on our 18-hole courses are divided into several smaller groups.
It affects more players than you might think.
A booked tee time you don't use is a "stolen" tee time from someone else.
If you know you won't be playing - cancel your place as soon as possible. Remaining in a fully booked ball even though you don't intend to play closes the opportunity for someone else to book your place.
Only register the players who are actually going to play. Your golf ID is personal and each player is responsible for using their own Golf ID correctly.
Incorrect bookings and arrival registrations affect both availability and our statistics – statistics that form the basis for understanding demand and making decisions about how our start times should be allocated.
Right start time – even early in the morning
To those of you who are playing the first times of the day, we would like to especially remind you: Do not tee off before your booked tee time!
Our course staff is on site early and working hard to prepare the courses for today's play. They need time before the first balls to mow, maintain greens, bunkers and other parts of the course.
We have an ideal time on our courses for a reason. If the first balls go out earlier than booked or play so quickly that they catch up with the course staff, it creates an impossible situation for our course workers. The end result is a worse prepared course for both you and the players after you.
Do not change the composition of the ball on your own
To increase accessibility, the reception can combine bookings for three- and four-ball on our 18-hole courses. This contributes to both better accessibility and a smoother flow on the course.
Do you want to change your booked start time or would you like a different solution – talk to the reception before you go outWe are happy to help if possible.
What doesn't work, however, is for a booked three- or four-ball game to be split into several smaller groups after the start on its own initiative. This changes the flow on the court and can also make it more difficult for court staff to get their work done before the game.
On the Park Course and the West 9 there is greater flexibility. On our 18-hole courses we need to be much more careful with this.
We are intensifying follow-up
We see an increased need to ensure that our starting times are used correctly. Therefore, in the future we will work more actively with following up on bookings, arrival registrations and how booked starting times are actually used out on the track.
When we see discrepancies, we will follow up with the affected players. Repeated or serious violations may be handled further by the club.
It's not about making it more complicated to play golf. Quite the opposite. It's about distributing our tee times as fairly as possible, giving as many people as possible the opportunity to play – and giving our staff reasonable opportunities to give you the course we all want.
Cancel when you are not going to play. Register your arrival correctly. Respect your starting time and talk to the reception if you want to make a change.
