Competition conditions

These conditions apply to all competitions at the club unless otherwise agreed for an individual competition. Special conditions for an individual competition and the entry fee can be found in the competition invitation on golf.se.

Registration for competition

Registration for the competition can take place no earlier than 3 weeks before the competition and must be done no later than 18.00 three days before the competition unless otherwise stated. Registration is done in My Golf. In case of over-registration for a competition, the order of registration applies. Cancellation after the draw, without a valid reason, will be charged with the applicable entry fee. Absence from competition, without a valid reason, see Game and competition handbook 8.3.6 page 80.

Handicap and Handicap classes

In competitions with more than one round in the same day, the starters play on the same handicap throughout the day.

At the club's competitions, the following division applies unless otherwise stated.

Class A +8,0-9,9 Class B 10,0-18,4 Class C 18,5-36 Class D 36,1-54

In the case of fewer than 5 starters or 5 teams in a class, it may be merged with another class or canceled at the discretion of the race management.

Tee in club competitions

Stated in the competition invitation.

Distinction (Rule 3.3a)

In stroke play with a handicap, differentiation takes place according to the game handicap method and when this does not give differentiation, the mathematical method is used. If the mathematical method does not give a distinction, a draw is made. In stroke play without handicaps, winners are determined by special play hole by hole (CC 1, 2, 3, 18; TC 1, 17, 18) until the winner is crowned. Other placements take place according to the mathematical method.

Scorecard Submission (Rule 3.3b)

Unless otherwise stipulated in the conditions for a competition, the score card must be left in the competition office. The score card is submitted when the player has left the scoring area.

Award ceremony

Prizes that are not collected at the prize-giving by the player or his agent* go to the next prize-winner. Special rules may apply to special competitions.

*Collection can be done by an agent with TL's approval. TL should not be an agent.

Results - the competition is officially over

When the final result is officially announced by the competition management, the competition is over.

• Dogs are prohibited at the competition
• Caddies are permitted unless otherwise stated in the competition invitation.
